EEO Statement
It is a core value at BASICS ABA Therapy that we provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. In addition to these legal obligations we also protect marital status, sexual orientation, neurodivergent status, and gender identity.
At BASICS we are dedicated to Innovation, Ethics, and Excellence and without a diverse and inclusive environment this would not be possible. We are focused on equity and believe that employers should not just protect legally protected classes, but others as well, because diversity in areas is essential. We will always follow EEO laws and will continue to protect beyond them.
COVID Policies
BASICS Safety Protocols
BASICS, LLC wants to ensure that families and staff are safe. We continue to adapt policies as the CDC, OSSE, and DC change their recommendations and mandates. This memo will lay out our general level policies for the new stage.
Masks are now optional for staff and clients.
What the colors mean
We will continue to base our safety levels on the Red/Yellow/Green model that the CDC and DC use. We will determine what “level” we are based on those metrics.
The color designation is based on DC’s color levels as defined here: https://coronavirus.dc.gov/page/reopening-metrics
-
Green: We will move to green when we are in “green” for about 2 weeks.
-
Yellow: We will move to green when we are in “yellow” for about 2 weeks.
-
Red: We will move to green when we are in “red” for about 2 weeks.
Notification:
When we are at a specific level we will notify families via email and post it on the website. It is the expectation that families and therapists follow the policies outlined in the level we are currently in or transition to. In the event that there is a major change, we may send out a document to sign.
Everyone commits to:
